Discover the Harp

One of the world’s oldest musical instruments, the harp is one of the least understood.  In this forty minute workshop participants learn to how to hold, tune, and play the harp.  Designed for up to ten explorers, the session focuses on several basic techniques needed to learn to play a familiar tune on the harp.  Teacher/presenter kit available free of charge.

Dave Shaul was my harp teacher when I lived in Wyoming. Dave worked well with me an older student and was great at using techniques and tunes that appealed. He is patient and very knowledgeable about many instruments, but the harp was a passion that he was great at sharing through his wonderful teaching.
