Concerts

Dave’s concerts may be dedicated to a particular repertory, or sample the rich music of World Harps — the choice is yours. Concerts are about an hour long, with a ten minute break. Concerts may include a complimentary harp solo with your local instrumental group.

Complimentary harp solos with your local instrumental group! If you book a workshop or concert, and have a local instrumental group (strings or wind), Dave will be happy to play a solo with them — please select from the following choices:

  • Bach, Italian Concerto
  • Albinoni, Adagio
  • Vivaldi, Allegro in A minor
  • Dawning of a Bright Winter Morning
  • Clementi,  Serenade
  • Sakura of Variations (Traditional Japanese)
  • Beethoven, Variations on a Swiss Air
  • Shaul, Sea Rhapsody (winds only)

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Cheyenne Chamber Music announce a “Celtic and Medieval Christmas” concert on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2019, at 2 p.m. The concert will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in downtown Cheyenne.

The concert will present Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish and Manx carols, along with a selection of Christmas music from the Middle Ages. Meditational music will be provided by a harp ensemble.

The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be gratefully received for the Unaccompanied Student Initiative which provides housing for Cheyenne area high school students who would otherwise have no home.

The “World of the Harp” concert performed by Dave Shaul was very informative and enjoyable! Shaul presented the music and culture from several countries and our audience all commented how much they enjoyed the performance. We will definitely have Dave and his harps return to our library!
